PingFederate: How to create a custom scope

Creating a custom scope

Open the PingFederate admin console and enter your admin credentials
Open the following tabs in the given order:
1. SYSTEM
2. OAuth Settings
3. Scope Management
4. Common Scopes
Enter the following value for “Scope Value”: modelop_client
Enter the following description for “Scope Description”: A custom ModelOp scope used to distinguish between an OAuth2 client and an end-user
Click on “Add”
Click on “Save”
